Eagle Eye Assessments ("We", "Us" or "Our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information we collect, in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPIA") and applicable South African law.

- Account information: when you register on this portal we collect your username, email address and a hashed password.
- Assessment information: details of vehicles, assets or properties being assessed, inspection findings, photographs and documents you or our surveyors upload.
- Contact information: name, email address and phone number when you contact us for enquiries or quotes.
- Usage information: standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site secure and functioning.
How We Use Your Information
- To create and deliver assessment reports and provide our services to you.
- To manage your portal account and secure access to your reports.
- To respond to enquiries, schedule inspections and administer client relationships.
- To meet legal, regulatory, tax and record-keeping obligations.
Lawful Basis and Consent
We process personal information to perform our agreement with you, to comply with legal obligations, and/or with your consent where required. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, without affecting processing that has already taken place.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only:
- With the Customer who commissioned an assessment, in the resulting report.
- With service providers who assist us (for example IT hosting), under confidentiality obligations.
- Where required by law, regulation or court order.
Retention
We retain assessment records and personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described above, or as required by law (including tax and limitation-period requirements), after which it is securely deleted or de-identified.
Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including authenticated access to the portal, encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we work to protect your information.
Cookies
This portal uses strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect against cross-site request forgery. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your Rights
Subject to POPIA, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, or object to its processing, by contacting us below. You also have the right to complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
Children
Our services are not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
